-Benefits of studying at this College

The Diploma of Enrolled Nursing gains credits towards the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) which is now delivered next door at Edith Cowan University on the same precinct as West Coast Institute of Training. This means students do not need to become familiar with new travel routes, relocate their accommodation or seek out local services, but can continue to live in the same community they commenced in and dedicate effort to their studies, which will already be linked though the library and other services shared between the two organisations. An active student support service exists to assist students to develop their study skills.

Partnerships with industry assist students to secure a link between their first practical placement and employment within specific graduate programs.

The West Coast Institute of Training environment, with its picturesque lake, provides an area for relaxation, prayer, study and meeting with colleagues. CAT bus services provide transport throughout the Joondalup area and learning precinct, providing students with the opportunity to save on travel costs. A boardwalk links West Coast Institute of Training directly to the train station and shopping precinct. As a result of delivering Hospitality training, West Coast Institute of Training is able to provide varied meals for on site and takeaway consumption assisting the student with their work-life balance during a busy semester.
